Christian Donnelly '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Christian Clark Donnelly and I am 16 years old. I was born in Brampton, Ontario, but moved to Burlington, Ontario 7 years ago.  I've been playing baseball for 10 years now and have been playing at an elite level for 5 years. I play for the Ontario Nationals 16u team based out of Kitchener, Ontario. I aspire to have a future with baseball where I can play professionally at the highest level possible.  Although, I know baseball can't last forever so I've taken many interests in the field of science in particularly human and space science. When I'm older I aspire to be working in fields such as Kinesiology, Medical, or Astrophysics. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I will always put in 100% effort in games, practices, and behind the scenes. I always max out the amount of work I can do and go by the motto of "getting better everyday".  What makes me different from other recruits is that I always support my teammates, if they're having a bad game, dealing with some issues outside of baseball, I will always be there to make sure they're alright and try to work with them to make the situation better. Even though baseball is very important to me, I always make sure to put school first and make sure my grades are 85 percentile or higher. Even if I don't succeed with getting my goal, I will always try to better myself and leave the past in the past.
