Hi. My name is Drake Pilat and I will graduate in Winnipeg Canada in 2014. I'm 5'11" and weigh 190lbs. I have a strong passion

and love for the game of baseball. I have good work ethic and I believe that hard work pays off. I very much enjoy competative sports

especially baseball. I love to play the game and compete. I consider myself a strong team player and I always play with respect

for my fellow teammates and the opposition. I'm a good sport however I play to win.

My immediate goals are to gain acceleration of speed as well as continuing to sharpen my defensive skills and being a dominant

force at the plate. My long term goals are to attend a college and play competative baseball while pursuing a degree in Education.

Throughout the year I play on 3 teams. The AAA league team, the Provincial team and the off season team. I have been working very hard on

my skills all year round and I am very much looking forward to the upcoming season where I can help my team succeed.

He was the youngest of the team. It was a U21 team and was called up at 16.
2013 Manitoba Triple A Select Team (AAA)
Drake was the starting 1B for this select team. Picked out of the whole province. This team also attended the Canada summer games (Canadas Olympics).
2013 North Winnipeg Pirates (AAA)
The team won the province in 2013 and went to nationals to represent the province.
2012 North Winnipeg Pirates MB (AAA)
Also play for Team Manitoba 16u. Rookies baseball experience.

We finished with a record of 3 & 3. I batted in the 4 spot throughout the tournament. Highlight was hitting a homerun.

Happens once every 4 years. Selection process took about 3 months to choose the players. Starting 1B in the whole province. Total of 80 kids trying out for the team.
