JJ (Jackson) Harnett '25 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has made an incredible impact on my life since starting the sport many years ago. I love being on the diamond more than anything, whether it is putting in hours in the bullpen and batting cage, or pitching in a championship game. It is my dream to play baseball at the college level and I am determined to make my dreams a reality. 

My strengths that set me apart as an athlete are that I am tall, muscular and athletic- I prioritize going to the gym everyday and working with a pitching coach regularly to improve my performance. My calm and collected demeanor absolutely benefits me as a pitcher; however, I am am always positive and supportive towards my team, and I will always do anything to help my team win. I am an extremely self motivated, analytic and dedicated athlete who puts working out, nutrition, sleep, and school above all. 

Academically, I am an exceptional honor roll student and my goal for the future is to study finance and achieve a CFA designation. I work hard to successfully maintain a balance of achieving high marks in school while continuing to be involved throughout the year in baseball and other extracurricular activities.
