Personal Statement
I have played baseball since I was four years old. I earned my first varsity letter my freshman year starting in left field and as a relieving pitcher. My sophomore and junior seasons I was a starting pitcher and when I was not pitching, I started center field. For my 2015 season, I was awarded a First Team All-Conference award for center field and a Second Team All-District award for pitching. Along with baseball, I have varsity letters for four years in wrestling, two years for football, and two years for track and field.
I plan on going to college to major in industrial engineering and minor in either accounting or athletic training. While at college, I want to pursue my life long dream of playing baseball. I will do whatever it takes to play baseball in college. I dedicate an hour every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning to the weight room. I also do four hundred push-ups everyday to strengthen my upper body and compensate for what I lack in size.
