Personal Statement

Cooper Oberbroeckling, Senior, Martensdale-St. Marys (.330/.408/.374, 34 TB, 4 2B, 11 RBI, 20 R)

Hello Coaches!

I am a Senior at Martensdale St Marys HS.  I am a hard worker on and off the field.  I am a team player and strive to be a leader for my team, pushing us all to practice hard and stay focused during games.

Some of my accomplishments this year was I  made honorable mention all conference for the Pride Of Iowa conference, and was also selected as KMA sports  Pride Of Iowa all-sophomore.

I love the game of baseball and have the drive it takes to succeed. My team was fortunate to play at the I Cubs Stadium in Des Moines Iowa , for a regular season game. The large atmosphere didn’t make me nervous or change the strength of my game. I was even on the highlight reel for the local news station. Not only did I have a first at bat double, but hit in the go ahead run.  It was fun! The video is at WHO and can be shared on request.

If I  had a “bad” game we will watch videos and talk to parents, staff, and other on how I can improve.  I will show up to practice an hour early to take extra ground balls after a game that I feel I should have played better in.

I simply love the game and will do what it take to succeeds.

Any questions please feel free to reach out to me. I appreciate you taking the time to review my profile. I’ll have videos and stats loaded soon.

Regards,

Cooper Oberbroeckling’
