Playing college baseball has been a goal of mine for many years now. I had an uncle that played Division 1 baseball and after telling me many stories and about how much fun he had, I realized that was what I wanted to do as well. For being 17, I do not have a big build so I am hoping to get in touch with some college coaches and begin a workout program to bulk up before college. I feel one of my strengths is that I began playing varsity baseball in 8th grade, so I will have five years of experience under my belt when I graduate. Athletics have been a very important figure in my life, but academics are very important to me as well. I hold myself to a high standard in the classroom and my parents also push me to work hard in the classroom and be respectful. Another strength of mine is communication. Like my father, I talk naturally with people I don't know so developing strong relationships with teammates and coaches would be easier for me. As I mentioned before, playing collegiate baseball is a huge goal of mine and I hope to be able to complete it someday.
