Personal Statement

I love my family.

Family is not just my parents and siblings , rather, family is the group of people who are my rock, and people who I can lean and count on to go the extra mile. With 5 siblings, I have grown up with a hectic, loving family who are always there for me and willing to help make me better. This has, in turn, given me a good understanding of what a good team is. A team isn't just people I see at practice and games, rather team is family. The group that is gonna help each other get through the hard parts of the season and rejoice in the good. That is what I am looking for.

Sports have been a major factor in my life from a young age. There was a sport for me to play and when one would end, I would hop right into another. Though I love them, I wasn't always good at them. When I was younger I was uncoordinated and was never too great at many sports. But I stuck with it. My parents didn't give up on me so I wouldn't either, and when I started growing into myself and sports I felt great. From this point I would go on to be on all state and all american baseball teams.

When I entered into High School Baseball in 8th grade, it was a wake up call. Competition was greater and people were bigger. My coach selected me to suit varsity. A couple games later in the season our starting Center Fielder hurt his arm and I was thrown into the fold and took the bull by the horns. I started every game for the rest of my 8th grade season in Center Field and would start every game in the next 2 seasons getting All Conference honors in both. Looking forward to my next seasons and what they have to offer!

  • 2017 ALL ACADEMIC GAME
  • 10/19/17 to 10/22/17
  • The fun begins Thursday morning with our All Academic Tryout, comprised of scholar athletes that meet high requirements in the class room and the SAT or ACT. Those players tryout in front of professional and college evaluators, as well as a skilled group of our own evaluators, that select players from that group to play in the academic game later that evening. We proudly have put college recruiters and talented players in a situation that has led to many players extending their career and also receive scholarships both academically and athletically. Shortly after the tryout starts the showcase style games of the AZ Fall Junior Classic begin. Those games run through the early afternoon on Sunday. A mixture of the talented players and talented teams has made our event an annual trip for hundreds of colleges and professional scouts alike.
