Personal Statement
~ I have loved baseball since the day I picked up a ball and bat. I love the story my parents tell of them pitching to me overhand when I was around 3 or 4 years old and I would jack the baseball into the neighbors backyard. My parents have instilled in me that the Lord and family always comes first in everything you do and I will always follow that. My dream has always been to play baseball at the next level. I hope to play at a college that will be the right fit for me and that I will be able to make an immediate impact with that program as well as getting the best education for my degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. I believe in doing what is asked of you to the best of your ability and to never settle for 2nd best or being fine with average. My freshman year of high school our baseball program had not one a game since 2012, and it was the first year for our new coach. This last year at the end of my junior season we finished with a record of 14-8 which we set a record at my school for wins. So I know what it takes to work hard along side your teammates and to believe in a program and your coaches. ~
