Alex Tatusko '21 Recruiting Profile

  Hello coaches, my name is Alex Tatusko and I am in the class of 2021 at Bishop Brossart High School in Alexandria, Kentucky. I am 6’/180 lbs. and I throw and hit right-handed.  I believe my biggest strength on the diamond is my versatility, where I can play any position asked.  Currently, I feel the most comfortable at corner infield and as a RHP.  Baseball has always been a large part of my life.  My brother played professionally within the Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals organization for approximately nine years. 

  As a freshman, I started at third base on the JV team while also being the #1 pitcher.  As a sophomore, I played on varsity as a pitcher, where I was able to pick up wins against senior laden teams of much larger schools in our area.  Due to Covid-19, our 2020 season was canceled.

  In addition to high school ball, I also play for the NKY Dragons where my father has continued to instill the lessons of the game and I continue to hone my skills both on the mound and in the infield.  

  When I am not on the diamond, my other hobbies include playing basketball, working out and watching movies.  I am a hard worker, good leader, and I am very coachable. I am a little quieter than some, but on the field, I know how to lead and communicate with my teammates.

  While baseball has been a large part of my life, I feel my academic success has set me up to be successful both on and off the field at the next level.  Currently I have a 4.5 GPA out of 4.0 and a 34 on my ACT.  In college I plan to major in business or pre-law and minor in history.
