Jayden Mitchell '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jayden Mitchell, I am currently a junior and attend Paris High School in Paris, Kentucky. I was born on August 22, 2004 in Lexington, Ky. I am currently 5'7" and 150 LBS. I am a left hander hitter and left handed thrower. My primary position is Center Field and my secondary position is Left Field. In my own words plain and simple, I am a ball player I love the game of baseball. Since the age of four I have played the game. I respect the game and all the people I have played with. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches. I know without them I wouldn't be the player that I am today. There is always more to learn. When I am not playing baseball or not in school I enjoy working out and fishing. School and baseball take up most of my time. I try to lift at least twice a week with some fellow teammates from my high school team in the off season. Over the winter months I do speed and agility training. My parents tell me to take it easy for at least one day a week, so if there are no games on Sunday I try to do something with them and my younger brother. My parents are very positive people they have always been very supportive.  As far as my most important accomplishments I have played varsity baseball since I was a freshman in high school. In conclusion I would like to assure all of the college coaches interested in me that I'm a hard worker. I try to be a better student, baseball player and person every day. On the field I communicate clear and loudly off of the field I would say I am a little quieter than most. Coaches usually tell me that I am very coachable and always open to listening to advice.
