As an athlete, I have learned many roles and responsibilities throughout each season individually and as a brother to my teammates. I have played baseball, basketball and football for many years. I have played tee ball-baseball since I was 4 years old. Each season was not perfect, full of achievements or trophies but full of lessons on how to become a better athlete, teammate, and the right way to win or lose. It taught me to work harder than my peers, that there is no down time, there is always time to work harder and improve somehow on the field or court. Sports has taught me time management and the importance of other pieces in life such as classwork, my involvement in the community and church.
My small town means a lot to me in regard to the youth that I can be a role model to and the importance of church. I enjoy working with the children's department at church, going on youth mission trips, as well as serving locally. I enjoy being a part of other clubs and opportunities such as FCA and FFA, FBLA, Tiger Impact Team, and Farmers Bank Ambassadors. I have taken on leadership roles in both clubs. I have also been selected by school administrators to be a part of the Tiger Impact Team for the 2024-25 school year. I am also serving the community with the Impact Team by reading to students at the preschool, speaking to classes, leading pep rallies, going to Leadership Conferences at Western Kentucky University. I have also been accepted and participating as a Farmers Bank and Trust Student Ambassador program. I will be participating in programs in the community and also teaching and leading in school programs.
I am a 4-year starter on the Junior Varsity baseball team since I was in 7th Grade. Now as a Junior, I am a 2 year varsity pitcher. I can go in as a starter, middle reliever, or even to close a game. I want to pitch whenever the coach needs me. Baseball has always been my favorite sport and I am very serious about my future as a pitcher. In 2025, I look forward to training, working hard in the gym to get stronger, lead in the community and school and become a man that will lead by example on the mound, dugout, and community. My family's motto is, Gods Plan Not Mine.
I look to Proverbs 16:9 as my go to verse in my life as well as athletic career.
