Baseball has been my one true passion since I was a young child. Growing up in one of the most baseball rich communities in Louisiana, the Lake Charles area has really helped grow my love for the game and surround my understanding of the sport. I started out playing around age 3 and I’ve dreamed of playing college ball since I was around 4-5 years old. I grew up watching my older cousins playing tournament ball and going to tournaments where I would eventually play myslef. Due to a genetic bone condition and numerous surgeries I sadly was unable to play for 3 years. Come Fall 2022, I've been fully cleared and recovered. Since then I've been putting constant work in to improve my skills on and of the field. My goal has always been to play at more elite of a level, partly due to the achievements and strive for greatness, but also just to be able to continue playing after high school. I believe baseball isn’t ”just a game” due to the large role it’s had in my life. This sport has taught me respect, time management, responsibility, and resilience. I would love to continue learning and growing with this sport as I further my education in pursuit of my DPT for physical therapy. Using my DPT I would continue my future with baseball by being a personal trainer and eventually one day become a pediatric physical therapist.
