Baseball is a large part of my life. I've been playing ever since I can remember. I'm a military child so I've moved around the world and have had the opportunity to see many different athletes and teams play. I've seen diversity within the sport and know what it takes to be an outstanding player and leader. Baseball has made me realize anything can happen and nothing is truly over until it's over and to keep pushing for what I want.
I believe I would be a tremendous attribute to the team and would be able to contribute leadership and hardworking traits. I have also learned to hold myself accountable and to do what's right even when no one is looking. Baseball has taught me the value of teamwork. The team has to work together in order to be successful. It’s also taught me how to be able to move on mentaly and to challenge myself everyday. Baseball has had a lot to do with the strong personal character trait that I have. Playing baseball has made me a much better person and to achieve goals even when there were obstacles in the way.
Playing baseball my entire life I’ve built bonds with other players that I keep in touch with today, and I've encouraged other players to better themselves as a person and in the sportsmanship of the game. Baseball isn't just a sport, baseball has become a way of life, some go out and just play the sport, I myself try to go and play with emotions and try to win and play to the best of my abilities and learn something new. Playing in high school is a new experience and challenge. I still manage to hold myself accountable and maintain a 3.0+ GPA and play baseball to the best of my abilities. I hope to be able to find a college that suits me right academically and athletically.
