Jason McCleary II '27 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals is to just play at the next level. I want to compete at the next level. No matter if its JUCO or Division 1, I want to show coaches that I' am willing to do whatever it takes to compete and win. What makes me a good candidate for teams is that whatever I can do to help the team win and get better, I will do it. If I have to play a position I haven't played, if it helps the team win, I WILL DO IT.  What makes me different from other recruits is that as a character I support the team in all ways. I make sure that everyone is on the same page and that we stay together as a team. In athletics I 'am a third basemen and pitcher. Pitching wise I 'am very consistent. Fastball isn't the best but location is good to were hitters struggle to hit it.  As a Third Basemen, I have a wide wingspan so I' am able to get to balls that are not easy. I can get the ball across the diamond quickly and accurately. Academics always come first. I always do my best to try and stay on assignments so I don't fall behind. Overall, I believe I have what it takes to play at the next level.
