Mitchell Lyall '15 Recruiting Profile

Mitch would like to play College Baseball while attaining his degree in Engineering.  Mitch is very strong in all 3 attributes - Character, Athletics and Academics.  He is very strong in character as his coaches will attest, he is a team guy.  He is always leaned upon in big games and big situations.  He always wants the ball in the big games.  He is a proven winner at every level he has played as well as a leader on his teams.  He shows his athleticism as he excels at both hockey and baseball but has chosen baseball to be his primary sport now. He was 1 of the top 2 starting pitchers on the U17 Manitoba Youth Team this past summer.  He was also the starting First Baseman at the Canada Cup Baseball Tournament this past summer hitting .438 and finishing 6th in the tournament in hitting.   Mitchell's High School Average Mark is 87% or 3.8 GPA.  This includes Advanced Placement Courses in Math and Science.  Scheduled to write ACT in December 2014.  Mitch is a smart individual and shows it in the classroom, on the ball field or anywhere else.
