Owen Mitchell '22 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches, I have played organized sports such as baseball, football, lacrosse and basketball since the age of five.  In the last few years, I have focused primarily on baseball.  I play year round between high school and club teams.  In addition, I excel academically and maintain high honors while taking honors and AP courses.  I have been told by my coaches that I am very "coachable" and they like my focus and commitment on the field.  Last year I made the varsity team and during the summer season I was selected to play up with the 22U team.   I am calm and composed and seen as a leader on my team by my peers.   I am a team player and always encourage and support my teammates and assist the coaches by arriving early to the field to set up  and putting equipment away after practice.  I am looking forward to the opportunity to take my game to the next level and play college baseball.
