Covid-19 is impacting everyone across the world. It prevented me from participating in my first high school baseball season. School is now entirely online or self-paced. Social distancing and baseball don't work together, but I am continuing to focus on the things that I can control - my training (mental and physical), my health and nutrition. Baseball will eventually return, and when it does, I will be ready. This also means that Covid-19 is gone, which is really the most important thing so everyone is safe.
I am fortunate to be part of an amazing program - Route 2 Blue Sox based in Arlington, MA. The coaching is great as they teach the fundamentals, the value of teamwork, commitment, and sacrifice. They are helping me to develop my leadership skills. While I still have 3 years before I graduate High School, I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I believe I will not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate impact. As a three-sport athlete, I know I have what it takes to be a leader and a good teammate on and off the field.
