Derek Richards '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derek Richards and I am an outfielder and pitcher from Framingham High School. I am 6'2'', 185 pounds, and run a 6.75 60 yard dash. My junior year I was elected first team all conference, and elected captain by my coach. I will prove myself to be a leader and do whatever it takes on and off the field to help the team. I would prefer to go somewhere warm and a more costal region, rather than the inland. I am looking for a large school, mainly because me high school is large, of any division. In college am leaning towards majoring in some kind f business or accounting, however I am not completely sure what major I will be pursuing. I would like to have the opportunity to play at the highest level I can, but i would much rather play more than sit on the bench.
