Resilience, Commitment, Teamwork, Communication, and Confidence: These are a few words that I live by both in sports and in life. I show up, play to the whistle, strategize with my peers, and stay focused on my end goal. I have learned so much through sports, not just by playing lacrosse, but by seeing how sports impact people around me and people around the world.
I have been fortunate to provide sports equipment to disadvantaged kids. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it feels to see a child's face light up by receiving their first pair of cleats. By helping other kids get started on their journey as an athlete when they have limited access to the basics is a motivator and a part of me that makes me appreciate where I am today.
I do not take things for granted and am continuously motivated to work hard and be the best person, friend, teammate, student and athlete as possible. This is who I am and some of the important values I will bring with me wherever I choose to go after high school. I am really looking forward to being a student athlete in college in a few years.
