My goal is to play baseball at a collegiate level and maintain a good GPA towards my college degree. I work hard on the field as well as the classroom. I am very coachable and I apply constructive criticism given to me. I am always working hard. Whether I have 4 hits or 0 hits, I am never putting my head down and giving up. Most importantly though, I am a good teammate and I always strive to make the team better, not just myself.
I am a primary catcher, but I also play shortstop, pitcher, and any position where I can help the team the most. I am constantly working to improve on each and every position so when the time comes that my team needs me, I will be ready. I constantly work on each and every position because I want to learn all aspects of the game.
Mentally, I have also grown drastically by learning to work towards something more than myself, a team. I also developed a strong work ethic and strive to be the hardest worker on the field and in the classroom. No matter if it is a practice, game or tryout, I am never walking and always hustling.
Academically I am just as driven and my grades are always very good. To play baseball at a high level I know how important grades are and I don’t take it lightly.
