William Beach '28 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2028 catcher, infielder and all-around baseball player from Winchester, Massachusetts. I started playing baseball when I was 2 years old at Showtime Sports Academy in Franklin, Tennessee and fell in love with this game. During my youth years, I grew up and played baseball in Winchester, Mass but played summer ball in Tennessee against many great southern competitors. I have enjoyed the opportunities I have experienced from yearly Summer Camps at Vanderbilt University (8 X Vandy summer camper), to playing summer ball in Brentwood, TN and to recently playing on the division 1 travel ball team (14U Navy) with Route 2 Blue Sox from Arlington, Massachusetts where I batted just under 400 BA % for the 2023 season. 

My primary goal is to excel academically and athletically during my high school and college years. I am dedicated to challenging myself intellectually, contributing to the academic community and being the very best team player possible. 

In terms of athletics, I have a strong skill set and a deep understanding of baseball. What sets me apart is my unwavering determination and work ethic. I am fearless in putting in extra practice hours and constantly strive for improvement, and I am confident in my time management and prioritization skills. My commitment to continuous growth and ability to adapt no matter the location, competition or the situation at hand, will make me a valuable asset to any college team across the country. 

I always strive for a positive and supportive team environment, and I am known for my leadership skills. I am dependable and always give my full effort in every practice and every game, therefore, I look forward to my continued development through my upcoming high school and college years.
