Declan Kearney '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

   My name is Declan Kearney and I am a 2022 graduate at the Macduffie School in Granby, Massachusetts.  Ever since I was a kid, I've dreamt of playing college baseball.  I live and die by the "anything for the team" mentality.  I try to make sure my coach can always count on me to get the job done whether that's defensively or offensively.  I play with a team first attitude and consider myself to be a grinder.  I love the offseason workouts whether it's sport specific or in the weight room.  I love bonding with my teammates to the point I consider them family.  I'm a quiet leader both in the classroom and on the field.  I try to always do the right thing and push others to do the same.  I currently carry a 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale, taking multiple honors courses and an AP throughout my high school years.  I scored an 1190 on the SAT as well.  I am looking for a school that will be competitive both academically and athletically.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and I'm looking forward to making contact with you.
