Michael Mussell '15 Recruiting Profile

I'm a small town kid, from the tiny island of Martha's Vineyard who's looking to pursue in his childhood dream of playing baseball at the highest level. I'm enrolled in all honor classes as well as a three sport varsity athlete with a very high chance of being a three sport varsity captain, I'm a member of the MV basketbal team l and I'm the quarterback of the football team. Playing three sports and living on an isolated island with limited oppurtunities, I haven't been able to play year round unlike many of my competitors. So only focusing on baseball in college with no other commitements will improve my game tremendously.

I hold myself to a high standard and will bring a strong character to your program. I've yet to miss a practice in my high school sport career, even when I had a season ending injury I went to every practice. Anyway I can help my teammates I'm willing to do, I want my team and teammates be successful more than anything, I'm very unselfish, with a highly competitive nature. I love the game, I'm always comparing players, looking up stats, I am an assistant coach of a little league team, I ump baseball games I live and breathe baseball and I look forward to playing collegiate baseball more than anything.
