Personal Statement
My dream since I was 4 years old is to play college baseball. You will get everything I have on the field, in the classroom, and in the weight room.
I am a good candidate for your school because I will do the work it takes to become one of the best players on the team, in the conference, and in the country. Last year was a good example of that. In my sophomore year we lost a heartbreaker in the state semis, and I was named Michigan first team all-state. One of the only sophomores in the state to achieve that honor.
I have been doing that since I was 8. I lead my little league team to a state championship at 10 years old in a league that never even won their district, helped my travel team at 12 to get second at Cooperstown when no travel only team with 11 guys has ever made the finals and no one from our area has ever played in the final game, and when I was a freshman in high school I started and helped my high school win their first ever state championship.
I’m looking for a great school to just give me a shot to play against the best in the country so I can prove I am one of the best players and can help the team to win the college World Series in Omaha. I also want a great education and a place I can grow as a person. I appreciate you taking a look at my profile and look forward to speaking with you soon.
Thanks,
Max Ferrick
