Becoming an All-Star for my Little League team in 2016 was one of my highpoints for baseball. But so was my freshman year when we went 30-3-3. But a big growing point for me was this year. We were ranked #2 in the state, but didn't even make it out of Pre-Districts. It has taught me that those rankings aren't the set in stone rankings. Being too confident also held us back from the potential we had as well, which I learned from. Being on three teams has also taught me the value on how to sacrifice, to be a good teammate, and have good leadership skill.
My collegiate goals are to become a psychologist because I feel like I can help people through hard times. I am a good candidate for the team because I help push others and lead them to get better, which also helps us as teammates bond better and create a good team chemistry. What makes me different from other recruits is that I put in extra work. Whether its in the weight room or in the cages. I also lead by voice and example, which helps others push themselves and also helps push me. Academically I work hard for my grades, and I try my best every time. As a three sport athlete I know what it's like to be a leader and a teammate , and I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
