Rylan Kane '19 Recruiting Profile

When I started baseball as a 9 yr old in little league, I didn't know that it would soon become my biggest passion!  Pitching was always something I wanted to try, but my opportunities didn't happen right away. But one day, in a really bad situation with several runs down, coach put me in to pitch. That day I proved to myself and everyone there that I could lead my team to victory and get the job done. Ever since that day, I've put everything I have into being a better pitcher and a better all around player.

As a student and as a athlete I've always tried my best and I am willing to put in the hard work to accomplish my goals on the field and in the classroom. On a personal level I'm funny, outgoing and enjoy spending time with my friends.

Baseball has taught me so many things! Commitment, hard work, teamwork, how to be a good teammate and how to listen to my coaches when they give me advice and criticism. Overcoming great odds by fighting from behind and to never lose hope.

My hopes and dreams for the future include playing baseball in college and furthering my education to get a degree. I know that I would be a great contribution to any college baseball organization with my passion for the game, my positive attitude, and my hard work ethic.
