Personal Statement

My Goals for college is to get a degree in where I can help people. I love to help people and making a difference. I have always loved sports, mostly baseball. I have played and been submerged with baseball all of my life, since I was 3 and I love the sport.  My dream is to be able to play competitive college and professional baseball, but if I can't I would still like to be around a team and apart of the sport. That being said I might pursue a career as an athletic trainer or even manage a team!

I feel what makes me a good candidate and what sets e apart from a lot of other athletes is that I can play anywhere on the field. I like to consider myself a flexible and easygoing utility player. I am a fast learner, very coachable, and things come to me easily.  I am a very positive and uplifting teammate, and very responsible. I am determined to succeed. Driven and motivated to get things done in the best possible way and the most efficient way. I have quick reflexes and I'm fast on my feet. I am not afraid to get dirty, It feels good to complete a challenging play with a little dive.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I like to push myself and achieve the highest possible percentile I can. I am currently taking multiple college classes along with my high school classes. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in classes and on the field. I am open to all options and want to find the best college for me.  I strive to become a role model to my peers, inspire a younger generation and get them interested in the magnificent world of baseball. I want to make my family and my close friends proud.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • D-Bat Detroit Velocity camp
  • 11/09/19 to 11/11/19
  • The main focus was on Velocity gains. In this camp, I was also worked on mechanics on the mound and in the cages. This camp helped me fix some of my miner mechanics and up my bat speed and my fastball speed.
  • Camp/Event
  • Erie Mason Baseball Camp
  • 12/26/18 to 12/27/18
  • 4:00-8:00 both days working on agility drills, everything to do about hitting, everything to do about fielding. Main focus on fielding where the 5 A's(Attitude, Anticipation, angle, Attack, and Always stay positive). Whenever you go onto the field you have to have a good Attitude about player or you will not succeed. When you are on the field you have to anticipate every ball coming to you and what you are going to do with it. When the ball is hit to you, you have to create a good angle on the ball. You have to attack the baseball When it is hit to you for the best chance at getting the runner out, and if you miss the ball stay positive and think about what you did wrong and how you can improve it. In hitting we focused mostly on finding a batting stance that worked best for me and then we went into live hitting.

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
