Hello, My name is Xavier Hodos; I am currently going to be a Senior next school year and attend Pittsford High School in Pittsford, MI. I was born September 20, 2003 in Toledo, Ohio. I am currently 5’11” and 170 lbs. I am a right-handed hitter and thrower. My primary position is Middle Infield, with secondary positions in the outfield and at catcher. I am a flexible player, willing to adjust to any position needed, no matter the challenge.
Baseball is the sport I love; I have been playing since I was 5 years old starting with catch in the back yard. I respect my coaches and my teammates on any team that I have played on even when opinions differ. I have had the opportunity throughout the years playing, to be taught by many great coaches. These Coaches have told me that I am very coachable and always open to listening to advice for improvement.
I am a multi-sport student athlete; I play Football in the Fall for my High School Team, Basketball in the winter as well as track and field in the spring. I would say I am a fast runner, as I placed 6th in the recent state meet, earning a spot on the podium and becoming all-state in the 4x4 relay. I have played football since I was 8 years old, but baseball is my main sport that I love to thrive in. I do every camp during the winter months, and any open gym opportunities I can get from my personal coach to my summer team facility. My parents have been my biggest supporters in my baseball career, I really appreciate all the hours they have sacrificed for my passion of baseball.
I workout in the gym 4-5 times a week, with fielding on my off days, and batting almost every day. Between training and school, I do like the occasional video game. I would like to continue to play this sport that I love while attending college. I am looking into a Nursing Degree. I Cannot wait for my next chapter in my baseball career and hopefully we can share that experience together.
Respectfully, Xavier Hodos
