William Scally '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

My name is Will Scally I am from Romeo,  Michigan in the USA. I would like to major in Aeronautical engineering and then join the Navy or Airforce after I finish college. What makes me a good candidate is that I am a hard worker and that I also am willing to learn something new academically or sports-related that can make me better as a person. What makes me different from others is my work ethic. My work ethic is doing school first and doing quality work that helps me get better grades. Secondly, my character makes me stand out because I like to joke around with others but I also hold others to a high accountability to do something so that we can do better as a team, not as individuals. Next is athletics, I run Cross Country and play Baseball during the same season so I know how to manage my times for both.  In my freshman year, I earned my Varsity letter for Cross Country and was all MAC academically.  I try to show up to as many practices as I can for both of these sports while managing schoolwork, family, and friends. I am very straightforward with my coaches when I am talking to them about my training for practices and I want to get the most out of my experiences as an athlete.
