I began playing baseball at only three years old. Since I first picked up a bat I always dreamt of playing baseball at a high level. Having an opportunity to play baseball while studying for my future career would be a dream come true. It would not only give me the chance to keep playing the game that I love and have built my life around; it will also allow me to grow as a person, as I strive for success through hard work at the collegiate level.
I have great pitch movement and break, my velocity is increasing exponentially as I continue to grow stronger. I have great bat to ball skills, creating a low strike out rate and a high walk rate. I maintain mental fortitude and toughness on the field, not allowing the situation of the game to effect my play. I bring energy and electricity to the game, lifting up my teammates, helping to create a positive and winning environment. I am a very coachable player, listing and improving my game based on what my coach tells me. I will work hard to achieve success for me, my teammates, and the team.
I work hard at both my athletic and academic pursuits. Playing for both club and varsity baseball teams year round, focusing on constant improvement. I work everyday in the gym, in the cage, on the field, and in the bullpen to improve my craft and become a better baseball player. Additionally I work hard on my studies each day, maintain a GPA above 4.0 throughout all of high school.
I seek to continue my athletic and academic pursuits in college. I want to attend a school where I have the opportunity to work hard in both the classroom and on the field. I want to compete and work hard to improve, and set myself up for success not only in college but in my career and my life.
