Darren Alford '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Darren Alford Jr, I am 6'2 and 227lbs. I currently play baseball for Moss Point High School. My primary position is 1st Base and secondary position is Pitcher. I also occasionally play 3rd Base when needed. I have a 3.4 GPA and I have been playing varsity baseball since my freshmen year. I feel that I am a great recruit. I have been playing baseball/ tournament ball since I was 8 yrs old. I have a lot of knowledge of the game and I am able to play multiple positions.

This Fall I had the honor of playing in the Barry Lyons Wooden Bat Fall Ball League. On the Weekends I play with the Gulf Coast Hurricanes we are currently ranked #1.

 After High School my plans are to attend college and major in Business Administration while obtaining by Bachelors Degree.
