Personal Statement
I’ve always loved competition, being part of a team and the satisfaction that comes from working toward a goal and succeeding at it. During my years as an undergrad, I plan to challenge myself to finish high in my class with a degree in Business or Medicine.
While working toward this goal will give me a great sense of satisfaction and be the first step toward a great career, the chance to continue my life-long love of baseball while competing at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine. My work ethic is strong and my drive to become the best player I can be sets me apart from many other recruits. I also pride myself on being a good teammate and being coachable.
On the field, I find my way on base a lot by hitting the ball hard and taking quality at bats. When on base, I use my speed to put myself in scoring position and in the field I use it to make big plays. These things all combine to make me not only a good teammate, but a good contributor to my team’s success.
