Abby Messina '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'2 versatile player at midfield and defensive back. What I might lack in size I make up for in speed, strength, and knowledge of the game. I have been playing club soccer since the age of 6. Over the past four years, my club team has advanced to the finals of the Missouri State Cup, in which we placed first in 2 of them. I have also played 2 years with the Missouri ODP team.

I am seeking a school that appreciates hard work and dedication toward both athletics and academics. The institution I am looking for will help me grow my abilities as a soccer player while allowing me to seek a degree in Sports Medicine/ Physical Therapy. Financial assistance is a must as my family will have 3 in college at the same time. Geographically, a great college town in the Midwest and Southeast would be ideal.
