Jacob Westring '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jacob Westring I am a Junior at Center High School and some of my goals would be to be able to play at that next level of baseball and to get to experience what it is like to play college ball. Some things that make me a great candidate for a colleges team is that I always try to learn and get better every single day, I am super positive when it comes down to talking to teammates, I will always do what you tell me to do, and I always play my hardest. Something that makes me different from other recruits is that I am very coachable and I listen to everything to make sure things get done the right way. I always try to establish great relationships with my fellow teammates and the coaching staff. For my freshman year and sophomore year of high school, I have received Academic Honors awards for keeping my grades high and my GPA high as well and in my freshman year baseball season I was a 1st team all Jackson County pitcher and catcher and set the single-season ERA record at 2.37 in 2019. I recently in 2021 just achieved the rank of Eagle Scout out o my Boy Scout Troop 1062 out of Boone Elementary.
