Personal Statement

My name is Malik Rodriguez and I am in the class of 2024. I am fortunate enough to have a supportive family that has allowed me to play a variety of sports throughout my childhood; (soccer, basketball, football, baseball, track). This has instilled the value of team work, commitment and growing as an athlete. I am a quick learner and have become versatile to play any position in baseball as well as be a switch hitter. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I take pride in all my work on and off the field, while respecting my coaches, teammates, and opponents. I know I have what it takes to play baseball at the collegiate level and hope to keep learning, and improving all skills needed.
