I am committed to playing baseball at the highest level. I have a tremendous work ethic and take nothing for granted. I am always working on improving my game. I have earned my starting position on my high school varsity team and traveling club teams. I do not expect anything to ever be given to me. I expect myself to earn an academic and athletic scholarship as well as playing time as a starter even as a freshman. I have listened to college coaches at showcases talk about what the expectations are of a student-athlete at the collegiate level. I have seen teammates of mine lose interest when hearing of these expectations and responsibilities as well as the demanding schedule at the collegiate level, but it is exactly what I want moving forward. I have also noticed kids my age experimenting with alcohol, smoking, vaping, juuling and more. I have no interest in that type of lifestyle. I am continuously in the weight room, batting cages, watching baseball videos and listening to coaches on how to get better at the game of baseball. I work very hard at baseball as well as school. I have maintained a 3.5 grade point average or higher throughout my years of school so far. It is just as important to me that I earn a college degree. Furthermore, I carry myself with great character and integrity each and every day. My goal is to play baseball at the highest level as well as learn from the very best. I anticipate that my coaches will prepare me to play baseball at the next level. It is extremely important to me that I am in a program that pushes me and prepares me to play baseball at the highest level.
