Tanner Bishop '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Tanner. I'm looking to further my love for baseball with a team that loves the game as much as I do. I am currently deciding on the academic field I would like to pursue. I am 5'10" and weight 195 pounds. I am a Senior at New Franklin High School. My primary position is third base, short stop and pitcher.  I bat right and throw right. I have been playing this game since I was 4 years old. I have been blessed with several good coaches that have pushed me to be the best I can be at every age group. I am looking for a coach that will continue to help develop me into the best player I can be. I have a great respect for this game and have always played with a great level of focus and composure. I have a high baseball IQ and don't get rattled in tough situations. I am a solid hitter and fundamentally sound fielding with a great arm across the field. I know what to do and when to do it.  I am always calm and collected during games and I leave my emotions off of the field. I am a great team mate and want my team mates to want to win and have as much fun as I do each and every game. When I'm not playing baseball, I love to hang out with my family, go fishing, watch the MLB, NBA, NFL and NCAA basketball. My academics are my main focus. My GPA is 3.91 out of 4.0.
