Personal Statement
My name is James Drake, I go by Trey. I am a senior at Sikeston Sr. High School. I have played baseball and soccer my entire high school career. Unfortunately, since season was cancelled last year, I was not able to have the opportunity to stand out and show college coaches what I offer to the teams I play with. I am a starter on the varsity team, my primary position is center field. I am a left handed batter, right handed pitcher. I am a universal player and can pretty much play in any position and have played catcher, pitcher and 3rd base.
I always give 150% when out on the field and will give you no less. I am known for my work ethic, please ask my current coaches (both soccer and baseball). They will tell you my leadership and team spirit are no less comparable to my work ethic. I was captain of my soccer team that just finished.
Baseball is my passion. I have played since tball and owe my growth as a person to the discipline I have gotten with sports.
