Personal Statement
I come from a small town in Nebraska where playing sports is a huge part of my life, but it isn't what defines me. What defines me are the things that sports have provided me and has helped me become who I am today. I have learned that my work ethic helps me improve daily. I have learned that my attitude is what hinders me or moves me on to the next challenge. I have learned that win or lose, there are always things to work on and I cannot worry about things that I cannot change, but work to improve the things that I can. My goal is to graduate from college with honors in Veterinary Science. I want to start my own practice as a veterinarian. I work hard in school and know what it takes to be a student athlete. I maintain a 4.0 GPA while participating in various sports activities year round. I am a multi-sport athlete where I contribute to all my teams in different ways.
Baseball is a passion, it's not a job, or something I do to pass the summer. I want to play baseball at the next level. I want to go as far as baseball will take me. I am a student-athlete, who works as hard in school as I do on the baseball diamond.
