Reid Heidtbrink '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Reid Heidtbrink. I'm a 5'8" catcher, SS, RHP from York, Nebraska. I will be graduating in 2021 from York High School. My grades are good, sitting now at 4.0  on a 4 point scale, but there is always room for improvement. I want my grades to be the best they can be.

I'm mainly a catcher but also play short stop and am a RH pitcher. Ultimately, I am willing to play anywhere to help the team. I have had 9 years of baseball experience and know the game pretty well. I batted a .593 in my last season and was selected to play in the Nebraska All-State Showcase at the end of the season. I take pride in my offense but still work really hard on both offense and defense. I feel I am pretty good at both. I am a great teammate and help my fellow teammates out when they are down. 

We currently do not have baseball as a high school sport. I play club ball during the summer and work on my skills as much as I can during the off season. I am trying to attend some camps this fall. I am very interested in playing baseball at the college level.
