Steve Wagner, Jr '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader and of strong character. My parents and my grandparents are my hero's. I believe you get out of life what you put in to it and I am not afraid of hard work. My dad played football at Delaware Valley College and was inducted into the schools Hall of Fame in 2012, he later went on to play with the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) and the Las Vegas Posse (CFL). I have a good understanding of what it takes to reach your full potential both academically and athletically. I currently work as the bat boy for the NY Mets triple A affiliate Las Vegas 51's. I have been fortunate to work with some of the best coaches in their field to include Harold Eckert who played at Florida International University (FIU) and was selected as All Sunbelt pitcher and was later drafted by the LA Dodgers. I am currently enrolled at Boulder City HS and play pitcher and SS for the Varsity team. I have taken honors courses since my 9th grade year, and hold a 3.0 GPA. In summary, I will be an asset to the college or university I choose both athletically as well as academically and will contribute to the overall excellence of the school I choose.
