Brooke Baker '21 Recruiting Profile

Having only started playing softball at the age of 11, people told my parents and I that I was already way behind in the sport. With me being behind my dad and uncle worked with me for hours on hours to catch me up. Through softball I have learned the value of hard work, teamwork, commitment, leadership, and patience. Also playing softball I have gained confidence in my play and confidence in real life. I have learned when I fail or make an error that doesn't define me as a player, it is what I do after that matters. I'm looking for a program that fits me athletically and as well as academically.
    

I have truly fell in love with the sport. Softball is my getaway from anything else in life. It allows me to forget everything in my personal life and just be free.
