Dylan Hanni '19 Recruiting Profile

I’ve always enjoyed the mental side of the game. Baseball has taught me that success in life is earned and my love of the game has motivated me to work hard to improve my skill set. My competiveness and confidence has also driven me to mentor other players to be the best they can be. As a result, I was honored receive the Sportsmanship Award at 15 years old. During my high school sophomore season I exceeded my own expectations by moving up from the bull pen to becoming the second starter in the Varsity rotation.

As a student-athlete, I have always felt it’s important to be a role model both on and off the field. My knowledge of multiple sports helps me in my volunteer work with children. I’m taking academically challenging classes to prepare for college. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I would be a great addition to your program and feel I can make an immediate impact due to my talent, character, and work-ethic.
