Peter Dempster '23 Recruiting Profile

I do not believe that I am the average candidate for your program. I have played baseball since I was 4, but have not had excessive training, regular pitching coaches, etc. As the oldest of eight children, my parents were not able to afford these extras. I have worked since I was 14 years old while also playing sports, focusing on my school work, helping with my family, and being active in my Church. Because I have had to work for everything in life, I feel like I am more hungry to succeed. This mentality has helped me become a very successful pitcher for my High School and American Legion team.

I have always been a natural leader and proved that my Junior year being selected as Captain of our baseball team. I'm eager to listen and very coach able. I love the game of baseball and want to grow as a player. I plan to focus on my craft this off-season as I will be joining the Complete Pitcher Program to hone my skills in preparation for my senior season and beyond. I have high moral standards and will not get in trouble. Since most of my free time is spent weight training and exercising, I plan on pursuing a degree in fitness in the hopes of one day opening my own Gym.
