Aedan Martin '24 Recruiting Profile

Playing baseball at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine, and I am confident that I can achieve it. I started playing baseball when I was 5 and I have learned more and more throughout the years through participation in recreation, travel and school teams. My work ethic is great on and off the field, as I am always trying to improve my game. I apply the same effort towards my academics, as I am always looking to improve in the classroom. I workout consistently to improve my strength and agility, as well as hit off a tee in my driveway and a heavy bag in my garage to improve my game in the offseason. I always show up to the field ready to play and am always ready to overcome adversity. I work well with others and I am always making sure my teammates are succeeding, just as I am. For these attributes, I was selected as the junior varsity team captain my freshman year. I am very coachable and am always willing to learn more. Attaining high academic  grades is very important to me. I work hard to maintain my 4.0 GPA and I want to attend a college that continues to challenge me and holds their academics to the same high standard I hold myself to. I can ensure you that I will put in 100% on and off the field, and I will prove why I was the right selection.
