Zack Strom '16 Recruiting Profile

My short term goal is to be accepted into a college of my choice, but also one where I can advance my education and lay the groundwork for my future career. My long term goal is to play baseball in college and hopefully advance to play minor league ball. In terms of my personal qualities, I'm hard working and always the first one on and the last one off the field.  I was raised by my family to always out-hustle everyone else, to compensate for what I might lack in talent. Some of my major character qualities are: I am hardworking, loyal, and a leader. To me, family always comes first, followed by academics then athletics. My family instilled in me the importance of staying together and supporting each other and the benefits of working cohesively toward a common goal.  This is a trait that I try to bring to my teammates and team.  It is crucial that we support each other, through the good times and the bad times.  Overall, I think that I would be an asset to any institution of higher education, and would work diligently to enhance the academic and athletic programs.
