Alexander D'Angelo '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alex D’Angelo, and I am a 6’ 0”, 200 lbs. catcher at Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, NJ. I have been a starter on the varsity baseball team since freshman year (I am now a junior) when we won a state championship. Although we were not able to repeat as champs my sophomore year, the team went 23-5 and was named the Bergen County Team of the Year. On a personal note, I received Second Team All-State (Catcher) honors from PBR (NJ), and Second Team All-Group 4 (DH), First Team All-County (Catcher), and First Team All-Division (Catcher) honors as well. I have spent the off-season working hard on all aspects of my game and in the weight room to prepare to lead my team to another state championship in 2025. In the summers, I play for PRD North Jersey Ghost (2026 National) team and have been fortunate to compete with and against some truly impressive ballplayers. I am also extremely blessed to have two parents and two sisters who do and sacrifice so much to support my dreams. I love this game, and whatever opportunities I have to play baseball at the next level, I know I would not have them without the encouragement I get from my family and coaches.
