Garrett Greaney '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Garrett Greaney and I attend Ridgewood High School in Bergen County, New Jersey. I will graduate in 2025 and am looking to play baseball competitively in college while also looking for a school that will academically challenge me. Some characteristics that set me apart from other players are my determination, hard work, commitment to the game/my team, consistency, and hustle on and off the field. Six days a week you will find me in the weight room working towards my dream of being a great college athlete. When not practicing, I take time each day to study the game by watching infield drills and many college games. My academic performance is different from other recruits because I have made the honor roll in every quarter of my high school career. On the field, I lead my team with great sportsmanship and I am not rattled by opposing players and comments from the stands. A great quality of mine is that I am never too high when I got "it" and never too low when things are not going well. When I pitch, I often go in with the bases loaded and our team is down by a few runs or when we need that final out. This means that my coaches trust me to get us out of the inning with no more harm done.
