Baseball has been a very important part of my life ever since I started playing in little league. I knew the very first time I stepped on that field I could tell that this was something I wanted to do as long as I could. There are things that happen that you never forget such as hitting your first home run or winning your first championship.
My freshman year was difficult for me, I received little to no playing time and whenever I was given a chance I couldn't deliver. I was mad at myself that I couldn't help the team win the sectional championship that year. I had to work very hard in the off-season to prove to myself that I could play in high-school let alone the college level. I eventually won first team all-conference my sophomore and junior year. To me that showed how hard I worked to get there. I believe that I'm disciplined, a great teammate, and the drive to play at a higher level. As an athlete who has worked for everything I've achieved, I know I have what it takes to be a vital player on your team!
