George Mueller IV '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is George Mueller, I am a 2017 graduate at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. My main position is third base but I am a very diverse player that can play any position if needed. I constantly do my best to overachieve in every aspect of life, whether it is baseball, my education, or my job. This year I am looking to contribute all that I can for my school baseball team and bring us to the Union County Championship game for the second year in a row. 

Upon review of my GPA and grades, you will see that I've pulled my grades way up from Freshman year to Junior year. During my freshman and sophomore years my father was very ill with cancer and as a result passed away. This caused my grades to suffer. I have since overcome this challenge and focused on academic achievement with great success. My hope is that you will look beyond my first 2 years of high school to my Junior year report card to see what I am truly capable of.

My goal is to play collegiate baseball at a university that is the right fit for me in regards to education, location, and athletic competitiveness, while pursuing a degree in Sports Management or Marketing. This degree would help me to pursue my dream career of working for a professional sports organization.
